Dr Egwin Yeo, our Co-Founder and advocate for Myofunctional Orthodontics and the Myobrace System, believes in treating at an early age the cause of malocclusion, which is usually brought about as a result of aberrant oral myofunction (incorrect tongue posture, swallow pattern) and incorrect breathing pattern. Drawing on his experience in Orthodontics, Orthotropics and Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr Egwin helps to correct these wrong oral posture through Oral Myology (Myobrace Activities) and Appliance Therapy (BioBloc and Myobrace), guiding the growth of the facial skeleton, thereby not only providing the basis of a beautiful face for life, but also developing the Airway and Craniofacial Complex – all these with minimal Fixed Braces as far as possible. Dr Egwin also works closely with the Otolaryngologist (Ear Nose and Throat Specialist) as well as Osteopaths, Nutrition Health Science and Speech Therapists to obtain optimal treatment outcomes for his patients.
